Staff always ready to help, top location right on the beach. City centre easily accessible on foot. Inexpensive restaurants nearby. Rental car free parking nearby.
No reason to complain.

Everything was excellent, stunning location close to the beach, the staff were attentive. Excellent service was provided too. In fact, there was a private parking onsite...

Good location, directly on the beach, only a few minutes walk to the centre. Breakfast is good, but very simple and without variety. Friendly staff, clean room, pool on the roof.
The coffee tastes terrible, no matter which variation you try.

The location of the hotel directly on the beach is the best. Cleanliness of the rooms was good.

Very good location, close to beach and old town.
Small and dirty rooms. Aircondition has poor capacity above 30 dgr C. Not the best breakfast we have tasted.

Clean accommodation, very very helpful staff. Quiet atmosphere and king room with maybe a couch. Very pleasant area, central location not far from restaurants in the old town and the centre of Nerja. Nearby Bar Marazul - great place to chill out.

The balcony view was breathtaking, perfect for morning coffee, and the complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a delightful surprise for my birthday.

The hotel was extremely basic, the only good point was that it was located on the beach and had decent sun loungers.
The staff were quite rude , room was very very basic!! The pool is tiny and there is only about 15 beds around it! Food in restaurant not nice!

Ideally situated on the seafront at Nerja, and the beds were comfortable in large rooms. The pools were on the small side but the roof top pool was excellent.
This hotel is rated 4 stars. The only four star aspects are listed above. The rooms in the annexe were we were situated were dated and in need of refurbishment. The floor in our bedroom was a cheap laminate which was lifting in places. We had no water pressure in the sink which took a full minute to run enough water for a wash, but bizarrely the shower was powerful, The room curtains were hanging off the runners and the blackout curtains were full of holes. This may have accounted for the strong smell of mothballs in the corriders and our room. This was so strong that our clothes still smelled on our return home two days later. The annexe as a whole needed refurbishment and the corriders and passages generally, a deep clean. It was possible to see where the cleaners had not hoovered properly in the room entrances. However, the worst of the hotel was to be found in the dining room. This was arranged like a works canteen with tables in rows across the room. The food was execrable. This is the only hotel I have been in that could spoil baby new potatoes. I picked five and four of them were like golfballs and the fifth was black inside. One vegetable choice was broccoli which fell apart when lifted from the tray, so over-cooked was it. The breakfasts were equally poor with fried eggs left to harden under lights, solid scrambled egg, fatty bacon allowed to stew in its own juices, all to be served on cold plates giving the fat time to congeal. There was a poor choice of cereals, juice from machines which tasted powdered and the most unpleasant tasting hot chocolate encountered. How this hotel can compare with the equally four star rated Hotel Monica 100 metres away is beyond comprehension. We stayed at three other four star rated hotels in Puerto Banus, Granada and Carmona in the period before this experience, any one of which would embarrass the Perla Marina`s owners into wholescale improvements.

Excellent location, plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Seems to be a hotel used more by Spanish than English. Reception staff extremely helpful.
Breakfast/dining room extremely busy at weekends with Spanish, a little hectic.
